Out of disaster comes success!

When our Office Manager, Sam Philpott, had a car accident last year, we were all very concerned. Fortunately she was not badly hurt, and on the plus side she managed to recruit a new member of staff!

Sam was driving home one evening when her car skidded by the Down Thomas turning, writing off the car. Bev Abrahams, who lives nearby, came to Sam's aid and stayed with her until help arrived. The two started chatting and, during their conversation, Bev said she had just been made redundant and Sam mentioned that we were looking for a deputy housekeeper and were about to start interviewing. Bev was added to the list – and was duly chosen for the job!

Now Bev, pictured, right, working with our Housekeeper Chloe Bradley, is a key member of the team and will take over the top job when Chloe departs to work for Disney in Florida in June.
